Informazioni su Rovello 18 Milano

Descrizione

The veal Milanese was exquisite! Thank you so much.

My favorite meal during my 3 night stay in Milan - went back twice. Still dreaming about this tomato pasta that had incredible depth of flavor and perfectly textured noodles. Price was also very reasonable!

Da provare, gusto rinfrescante, ingredienti freschi

I had a nice meal at Rovello. The service was good and they had an impressive wine selection. The food was very nice, although I think for the price, there were a few elements which needed improvement. The cheese in the zucchini flower was under salted. Although it was still nicely cooked. I had the fish of the day in a rich olive and tomato sauce. It was very soft and perfectly cooked. The sauce was very rich - perhaps a little too much for my personal taste.

We had dinner here on a Thursday night on our second night of vacation. Our reservation was for 7:00 which is early in Italy so the restaurant was pretty empty upon arrival. By the time we left the tables were mostly occupied and there was a lively atmosphere in the dining area. For dinner we had: Cacio e Pepe pasta - cooked perfectly al dente and very delicious, but also super rich. Perfect to share with the table because I didn't want more than a bite or two. Watermelon & Feta salad - Fresh, nice and light Hummus with Pickled Beets - Seemed like an interested started to have at an Italian restaurant but was really very good Spaghettini with Tomato & Tropea Onion - this was the stand out dish for me. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the tomatoes were jammy, sweet perfection. Tagliatelle with Bra Ragout - My husband let me have a bite, and it was great but I still preferred the tomato spaghetti Sautéed Greens - well flavored but a little salty Overall we had a very nice dinner here with good service and good food!

Had a lovely dinner here. Couldn’t get a reservation in time, but if you arrive early you may sit at the shared table. We were served two types of bread, a sour bread and a more crunch cracker type bread. Both were very tasty. My partner got the cacio de pepe and I got a pasta that had a rich red sauce arugula and bacon bits(can’t quite remember what it was). We both shared a refreshing salad that had watermelon, feta, tomatoes and melon. It was all so tasty! Such a lovely experience for our first night in Milan.

Just beatiful atmosphere, every dish was so delicious and authentic. Must try when in Milan!

First of all, the food here is definitely amazing. It's nice and tender or crisp and crunchy and so on, definitely not bland. However, it wasn't exactly innovative or overwhelmingly interesting, just an expensive, elevated version of familiar recipes. (I would therefore give it four stars, but it was too tasty for that) The service staff was perfectly polite, at first a bit cold but they warmed up to us soon enough. However, the four stars for service aren't for that reason, but rather because the menu was unnecessarily wieldy, with a digital wine card that was a handful to handle and a lack of clarity about what was actually available. The atmosphere wasn't anything special either, calm and nice. We had some amazing wine, dessert wines and digestivés. The staff was also able to give us very good recommendations. All in all, a good elevated restaurant with delicious cuisine, but not exactly anything new or extraordinary.

Rovello 18 in Milan offers an great dining experience for lunch. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff create a welcoming ambiance. The traditional Italian dishes are delicious. The extensive wine list, featuring over 800 selections, perfectly complements the meal. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic but modern Italian cuisine in Milan.

Nice bistro.

Pros: • Atmosphere: Traditional family restaurant with a fairly casual yet high-quality dining experience. • Menu: Good choice of dishes, with menus available in English. Large selection of wines. • Service: Quick and efficient service. • Pricing: Reasonable prices. Cons: • Honestly, I can’t think of anything less positive about this restaurant. Overall, Rovello 18 offers a relaxing dining experience with excellent food, service, and value.

I have to say this place served me the best pasta I have ever tasted in my life! The veal was to die for, I would definitely recommend it. They also have a great wine selection and they are patient with you.

Ristorante molto carino e curato. Cibo favoloso.

My lunch at Rovello 18 was the best I had in Milan. Everything we ordered was superb. The pasta was cooked perfectly and all of the flavors were spot on. I started with the zucchini soup and got the cacio e Pepe and the Chitarra con Pomodoro e Cipolla di Tropea. For desert, the chocolate flourless cake and tiramisu are musts. The ambiance in the restaurant was perfect as well. Come here for an authentic and delicious meal.

Only went for a post dinner drink bit atmosphere and drinks were fab!

Quality food and wines throughout the meal. Fantastic stuffed zucchini entree. My pasta was one of the best pasta dishes I have had. Cotoletta perfectly cooked. Some interesting and quality wines by the glass. A treat for our last meal before the end of our holidays. Friendly, attentive and professional service.

PRO'S: Rovelli 18 is a small restaurant with fine traditional Northern Italian dishes. Excellent: Wines & Pasta Dishes including my pasta, fava bean paste, dried bacon & Parmesan first course. Sadly, my partner's fish of the day was overcooked and dry. My partner ordered Cacio de Pepe to replace the fish. Excellent wait service. CON'S: Only overcooked mackerel remove from our bill w/o asking. SUMMARY: Rovello 18 has great pasta & a fine Italian wine selection to make us return.

I had the tagliatelli ragu, radicchio salad, and tiramisu. All were good and simple. I felt the pasta (the actual noodle) to be the most special out of what I ordered. Service was professional and discreet. My only quibble is when the restaurant fills up, it starts to feel quite loud, or at least with how the sound bounces to the back of the room. I'd still come back for the rest of the menu, but for a table closer to the window.

We went to Rovello 18 without a reservation, they were able to accommodate us. The service was great, very friendly folks. Really nice atmosphere, chill and not stuffy! I had the milanesa, it was fantastic, I definitely recommend it. Others tried the Cacio e Pepe and pasta with polpetini and they were also very good. I definitely recommend it and would definitely come back here.

Waooooo! Spectacular!! The sausage ragu is brutal! Must order that, the cotolleta, and the raw sausage with focaccia. Super fresh flavors

Charming little restaurant with a friendly, authentic vibe.

If you are looking for a wonderful culinare experience combined with the exquisite class service, you should definitely book a dinner at this restaurant. The food is a delicious journey accompanied by delightful desert and excellent wine🍷. As simple as they are, the dishes have taste in ways that you do not think to combine. The size are perfect adjusted in order to have space to try every first, second and desert. Well maby one of them may come as a surprise, but is cooked in a way that allows you to eat it all, the flash melt in mouth. I am sorry that we did not discover this place earlier, but if we return in Milano we will definitely go back here. Buon appetito!

Good quality food, but nothing to be excited about. Service was OK, able to bring a dish and serve a wine, that's it.

Really nice Italian dishes and exceptional service. Definitely should visit when in Milan.

One of our favorite restaurants in Milan. Great staff, great food, great wine (big list). We were between dishes for a few courses and our waitress gave us honest, good recommendations. Felt cozy, intimate, like a bistro. My only callout is the music. They play sad, slow, American cover songs. Like why? Everything else is so great don’t dumb it down with this kind of music.
