È la seconda volta che mangio al Ratanà. Confermo il mio pensiero della prima volta. Ottimo cibo, prodotto con materie prime eccellenti… sapientemente combinate e lavorate. Buona scelta di vini naturali. Servizio gentile. Alla prossima

As much as we wanted to like it, we couldn't enjoy the food. Sorry it wasn't worth it for us

We had a nice evening at Ratana. Good food, good wine, nice atmosphere and good service. Dinner time can be full that’s why it’s necessary to make reservation. We had 2 kinds of risotto and a fish dish. It was a very light dinner so we got hungry a few hours later. Their specialty is risotto. Dessert was also good.

Sit at the bar. Watch the maestro make drinks. Great vibe from this point of view and getting to see the chemistry the staff has heightens the experience. The food is more than you expect. Just don't act like a tacky American tourist. It's annoying. Kudos to the staff that have to deal with this stupidity on the regular.

Buonissimo tutto e super accogliente il locale !

Spazio molto bello in una delle migliori zone di Milano! Il cibo è di ottimo livello con i prezzi ovviamente un po' alti! Il personale è molto disponibile a servire.

Booked for Monday lunch. Obviously a favourite spot for workers - very busy between 1 and 2. Staff were really nice - not worried that we were 10 mins late, arranged a table on the terrace even though I had had to book inside when I went online. Our waiter was excellent. We ordered a second bottle of wine but they didn’t have a cold one so we ordered a different one rather than wait for it to cool in the freezer. He offered to warm up my meal which had cooled slightly while we waited for the wine (without me having to make a fuss!). We were also given a complimentary desert as an apology for the wine not being available. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very convivial (until the gardeners arrived next door with their leaf-blowers! Head chef/owner was very cross with them!). We relaxed in the sun (had not seen it for at least 5 months in the UK) after our meal and although all the other diners had gone and the staff were tidying up the tables for the evening we were not made to feel rushed at all. I really loved this restaurant. Thoroughly recommended.

Pima volta al ristorante per un pranzo importante. L'ottima impressione avuta in fase di prenotazione (consigli, dritte, disponibilità, professionalità) si è confermata all'atto pratico. Ottima cucina, basata su eccellenti materie prime e su una expertise di livello, carta dei vini di eccellente livello, servizio eccellente, curato, amichevole e professionale allo stesso tempo, un conto che mi ha positivamente sorpreso, interni curati e molto simpatici, uno spazio giochi per i piccoli ospiti bene attrezzato e ben tenuto: insomma, una esperienza positiva al 100%. Complimenti!

The service here was fantastic, really attentive staff without being overbearing. The tables are located quite close together impacting upon the atmosphere given the table next to us was having a loud conversation. The food was good! We particularly enjoyed the starter/while you wait dish carrot hummus as pictured.

Accoglienza attenta, locale accogliente, atmosfera bellissima, piatti (e sapori) raffinati..., ma più grandi del previsto, non potevamo finire... 2 primi, 2 secondi e il divino millefoglie tiramisù, 1 bottiglia di vino, caffè, grappa, 190 euro,

everything was so good. the bread, the olive oil, the vegetables in the salad were some of the freshest i’ve had, and the risotto was just packed with refinement. wish i went many more times during my visit

Risotto al midollo strepitoso e carpaccio di trota eccezionale. Anche gli altri commensali hanno apprezzato moltissimo tutto il cibo con piatti sia di carne che di pesce. Prezzi abbastanza alti, ma qualità eccellente. Il vino che abbiamo scelto era un po’ caro, buono ma non speciale. Dolci anch’essi ok, ma non speciali e cari. Atmosfera piacevole, bella la zona e l’edificio.

Nel cuore del Parco Biblioteca degli Alberi questo bel locale che sorprende e mette il cliente a proprio agio grazie al personale giovane, gentile e preparato, ai begli arredi e soprattutto grazie a una cucina di altissima qualità, che rivisita e aggiorna in chiave moderna i capisaldi della tradizione meneghina. Ricca e interessante anche la cantina. Prezzi medio alti del tutto giustificati.

The service was excellent. The restaurant kindly created a full vegan tasting menu for me, as I was joined by two friends (non-vegan) who were having the tasting menu. The food and the service was well worth the price. Thank you to the staff who made this wonderful experience possible!

Qui si mangia molto bene.

Uno dei miei ristoranti preferiti di Milano. Le proposte sono sempre interessanti ed i piatti sono deliziosi. Di altri ristoranti ci si stanca presto frequentandoli spesso, con Ratanà è improbabile. Il servizio è attento e veloce, peccato sia sempre più difficile prenotare, se non con largo anticipo

Locale accogliente. Cibo buonissimo. Pieno di creatività. Personale veloce e professionale. Bravissimi.

Ai collaboratori si può dare 11 e lode ? meravigliosi attenti mi hanno affascinato tanto quanto le pietanze proposte .. ragazzi grazie vi auguro di sentirvi accudita e nel benessere più totale come lo sono stata io... grazie tutto perfetto i piatti sono esattamente come li vedete in foto....studio sui particolari che rileva un desiderio di appagare il cliente su quanto proposto......perfect❣️

very nice looking place, food is ok, friendly atmosphere, but all the staff members (waiters and barman) were drinking during work, which is very unprofessional and makes a really bad impression- we were sitting at the bar and watching as each of them was coming to the bar, pouring wine or gin into a glass and drinking, so that by the end of our dinner they were all laughing with each other and forgetting what we asked them…

Best milanese food

Serata magnifica, cenato divinamente. Ottimo connubio tra tradizione e innovazione. Piatti di qualità eccellente, servizio attento e ambiente informale ma molto curato. Ottima anche la carta dei vini. Se la si vuole gustare, bisogna ricordarsi di prenotare la cotoletta alla milanese due giorni prima.

We had such a great time having dinner at Ratanà! The food is so good and the service is great.

An amazing experience all around. Easily a Michelin 1 Star restaurant but personally I hate the guide so I’m glad it isn’t. Food was top notch, service was excellent (especially for English speakers), and the wine list is unreal, coming from the USA I was blown away at how reasonable the prices were. Couldn’t believe we had a bottle of wine and four dishes for less than 200 bucks that’s unheard of in the USA. Thank you to all of the chefs and staff in the back for an excellent meal.

I feel bad giving them a 5 star. I think they deserve more!!! The attention to detail, the service, the taste, all absolutely divine. They even accommodated our request to make some vegetarian dishes (they were a bit light on the veg stuff for lunch) I’d gladly go back over and over
