Abbiamo fatto una cena davvero deliziosa alla Taberna San Tomaso. Tutti e tre i piatti erano una delizia della cucina milanese compreso il vino. Il servizio era molto attento e cordiale. Quando torneremo a Milano torneremo sicuramente in questo ristorante.

Questa osteria offre una cucina milanese preparata in modo semplice e buona, autentica: il tutto ha più un'aria da mensa, lo dimostrano solo le tavolette che alcuni portano con sé. La qualità si vede anche nei tanti locali (compresi quelli in giacca e cravatta) che pranzare qui.

Very nice restaurant in Milan, great service, food and atmosphere! We had dinner in Milan and wanted to avoid touristic restaurants and go somewhere authentic! This restaurant is perfect, we had Milanese chicken and gnocchi as well as panna cotta and Prosecco ♥️

Locale originale e raffinato con un ottimo sottofondo musicale che aiuta a rilassarsi e non copre le conversazioni, cibo e vini OTTIMI serviti con garbo e professionalità, i proprietari sono molto gentili e competenti e sanno esaudire i desideri dei commensali con tatto e semplicità. Consigliatissimo

Buon cibo con un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Molto amichevole con i bambini. Mangia gente del posto.

Cibo fatto in casa, semplice ma buono. Tiramisù strepitoso. Non è economico ma i piatti sono grandi e il servizio è molto rapido e rispettoso.

I risotti sono molto buoni anche se il personale mi è sembrato un pò disattento.

Locale accogliente a pochi minuti dal Duomo, con luci soffuse , musica rilassante e candele sui tavoli. Il menù è vario, noi abbiamo optato per un primo e un dolce che erano entrambi ottimi ed abbondanti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo adeguato. Da provare.

Locale estremamente accogliente a due passi dal Duomo: l’ambiente è semplice ma davvero particolare, con vecchi tavoli di legno. Il servizio molto veloce sebbene a pranzo ci sia molta gente e non accettino prenotazioni. Ho apprezzato molto la disponibilità a offrire un’alternativa vegana non scontata: mi hanno preparato un risotto con funghi davvero eccellente. Le dosi sono abbondanti e il rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo, considerando che ci si trova in una traversa di Cordusio. Offre un menu giornaliero oltre ad alcune proposte fisse. Raccomandato per la posizione, la qualità e l’ambiente!

Small tavern with few options to choose from, the taste is ok but the price was a little more expensive to what we expected adding everything up. Nevertheless I recommend it because the service is really fast (we didn't wait more than 10 minutes between ordering and receiving our food)

It is an impressive restaurant, the staff is very friendly. This was the place I enjoyed eating the most in Milan.

The restaurant on a little side street really worth finding! The food was great, the staff was pleasant, prices reasonable. Big thumbs up and definitely recommend!

Menu turistico con prezzo alla carta. Adatto a turisti stranieri, un italiano si accorge che la qualità dei piatti è basica. Ambiente grande. Positiva la posizione, vicino al castello.

What a fantastic find!?! We wondered in after a quick tour of the Duomo and had no idea what a delightful little gem we’d found. They had just opened and offered us seats and a menu in English. Then all the locals came in not long after. It’s clear to see this is a favorite spot for many. How it works: approach the bar, view the menu (it changes daily), order and then take your tray to your seat. Once the food is ready they’ll bring it out to you. The portion sizes are perfect for a light lunch and the staff were happy to offer recommendations. I had the ragu with pasta, the house white wine, the tiramisu and a macchiato. My friends also ordered the Broad Bean soup and the chicken stew. We were all very pleased.

Ever felt like an uninvited guest at a party where you're not sure if you're welcome or just tolerated? That pretty much sums up our experience at Taberna San Tomaso in Milan. Picture this: a cozy party of three, ushered into a vast corner with a table for twelve. It's like they thought we'd brought our invisible friends along! There we were, nestled in our own little corner of the world, echoing in the vast emptiness of a table that could seat a football team. The feeling was a unique blend of 'special VIP treatment' and 'oops, did we crash someone else's wedding?' The food? Fair enough, but nothing to jump up and down about. It's like that one bland movie you watch and forget about the moment you leave the theater. The highlight of the evening was playing musical chairs on our oversized table, just to feel less... lonely? And let's not forget that we actually booked this in advance. It seems our reservation was a magical ticket to the most secluded spot in the restaurant. It's like they saw us and thought, "Ah, the corner table - perfect for those who we wish to acknowledge but not really engage." In all, if you're looking to feel like an afterthought or fancy a game of hide-and-seek with the waitstaff, Taberna San Tomaso is your go-to. The food will sustain you, but the experience? That's a story for the books.

Wonderful service and delicious food. We had to - sadly - rush as we had to go to a show, but the whole service team was very accommodating. The ossobuccco, pastas and house wine were superb and very well priced. Will definitely return when I don't need to rush!

Un luogo intimo, riservato e ben curato. Un menù con piatti della tradizione e buona scelta di vini. Personale veloce e professionale.
